The bottom image is the result of an awesome mistake!  Needs more investigation.

"Sooo Bad Ass"

Just some cool kids smoking and looking at something that really caught their respect.  I haven't a clue what that could be though.  Maybe you do.

Sketchy sketchy sketchy...

I've been doing lots of drawings on paper lately which means more effort to post.  I get real lazy when it comes to scanning and prepping them to show on my blogidy-blog.

The last one in this series is Moebius influenced.  I would like to start doing more detailed doodles like that one.  Figure out some patterns and stuff.  ALSO  I did four of these drawrings in a couple of hours.  See if you can guess which ones.  Nevermind, don't waste your time.  I love you.

Oh yeah.  Most importantly, I was thinking about trying to sell my sketches.  Like at a Pasadena Artwalk sort of thing.  I was thinking about maybe $15-$20 per real drawing.  Just toying with the idea.  What do you guys think?

Madison

I did this drawing really fast while Madison, Titmouse PA, was talking to my friend Keith.  She liked it so I threw some colors on there so she could have a cooler looking image to show all of her friends.

THAILAND!

Hey welcome back.  Felicia and I just returned from our 10 day excursian to Thailand.  We got to check out tons of stuff while we were there.  Here's some sketches I did during our trip.  They pretty much blow since I was usually drawing on moving things (cars, planes, boats, elephants, etc.).  I also included a photograph of me and my girlfriend posing with this elephant.  It took my money and bowed back to me a couple of times soon after the picture was taken.

Feel free to check out some more of our photos on Felicia's Picasa page @

April Rose illo...

My old friend and voice actor, April Rose, Got in touch with me a while back and asked if I could do the art on her voice demo cd.  I was like "sure, I'd love too."  So I did.  She really is a fantastic voice actor and was nice enough to do the voice of Ginger Flamingo in my senior thesis film.

Here's some of the preliminary sketch ideas and the two versions I submitted to her.  She chose the top one.  Enjoy.

Knight Girl...

I was inspired by this really awesome animated short I saw today on the Cartoon Brew entitled, "Medusa", by Nick DiLiberto.  His designs are fun, efficient and super animatable.  In other words not only were they appealing, but  they gave him the stress free ability to focus on the animation and not slave over the drawing.  So I did some of my own takes of his style from memory which evolved into my own character that could hopefully exist in Nick's universe.  There is of course a couple of irrelevant doodles in the mix, but they help the composition or something.

"THE HUNGER"

"Have you ever looked into the eyes of a wolf?"  One must stop and ask him/herself.  Last week my sister sent me a link for this amateur music video titled "The Hunger" by singer/song writer and genius, Joshua Michael.  The shit was so funny that it inspired me to make this drawing in celebration of its existence.  Enjoy

HANG FIN!

In celebration of shark week I made this.  It's suppose to be totally early 90's, venice beach rad art drawn with prisma colors and ink.  Be sure to check out Megan Dong's blog to see more people that wanted to celebrate this chompy holiday.

Marker Lady Doodle

I'm gonna do some more of these Prisma-Color drawings.  Colors are a good idea.  I did do a little color correcting in Photoshop.

Unfortunately the skill range here is from okay-bad.  I'll be posting some nicer sketch pages soon.

Old Party Flyer and T-Shirt Graphic...AND HAPPY EARLY 4TH OF JULY!

The girlie on the beach was done for a personal party I threw a long while back and just never got around to posting it.  The doodle of the people watching fireworks was done for my Girlfriend's family.  Every few years they get everyone and I mean everyone together for a massive reunion.  It gets so big that each "tribe" has it's own t-shirt color and graphic.  They also have a contest to see who had the best shirt design. I hope I win. . . Yay! Cousin Art! Yay!

Pilot: Black Dynamite Character Design...

So I recently got put on a really cool project at Titmouse and am helping out with the character design aspect of the project.  I can't tell you what it is, but it looks something like this.

What a surprise...

...Jeremy drew a couple of babes fightin'.

And some other babe ready to throw down.
Actually this one drawing is particularly funny to me, because it ended up lookn' a bit like a friend of mine that does the Lucha Dora.  So I named this character, Vera.

Hey welcome back!

Hey duders. I'm sorry for the lack of posting in the past couple of months. My life hit a small speed bump and I've been busy keeping myself on track and doing my best in making good decisions. I've also been busy working on a comic book project for fun in my off time and have been rather committed to it. Well, overall I feel pretty good about donating some time to the ol' blog and want to post some stuff for you. Actually I'll admit that it was really Mike Maloney's comment that read "Post something already, Asshole!". I can respect that and want to respect that. So here's my first post.

This is Chap Whitman. He's the "2nd fastest man in the universe!" He used to be the first fastest man, but then was showed up by an alien that can go way faster than him. Now his life is a mess since he's second best, but maybe with a little love and friendship or sheer will can he achieve his original position in life. Sounds lame right now, but I'll keep it as an idea that might work well for a comic or something. I dunno. Hope you dig it!

Watch Russ Meyer's "Super Vixens

The crazy thing about these drawings is that I didn't exaggerate any of them.  These proportions are real.  REALLY.  Check out Russ Meyer.

5 Second Animation Day 2010!

Since I couldn't properly post the film on my blog, I leave you with some stills. However, be sure to check out the film at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dysU5rTw2Zk

About the film:
This year for 5 Second Animation Day at Titmouse I worked on one episode of Ginger Jack-Off. It's a character my friend, Matt Taylor, and I came up with about a year ago. Essentially, we just wanted to make something weird and funny.
Also please keep in mind that I wasn't going for the best animation here. The challenge for me was to make a narrative in a day. Something that I find rather difficult for myself to do. I'm just glad it's done.

I gotta give my special creds to Juno LEE for animating that horrific, sci-fi butthole, Kyohei Takayama for doing all the Back grounds in the film and Matt Taylor and Ashley Fischer for providing me with some sweet voice acting.
HOPE YOU DIG IT!

Some SPARE animation...

How often do you hear that one. My good friend, Juno Li, suggested I try this animation exercise in timing. Have your character do an antic and then make him/her jump within a 1-2 frame blur into mid-air pose. Then jumble around from pose to pose on 4's with no inbetweens and land that sucka. Holy shit it works! Thanks Japan.

Lightening fx were added later for fun. Another "Juno" suggestion.

I've been meaning to post more...

So here's another doodle page. I referenced one of those gals. Guess which.

Die Antwoord Follow Up!

Yo check this out. I sent that fan-art out to Die Antwoord's facebook page and this how they responded. Nice!

DIE ANTWOORD commented on your link:
"Holy Jesus Jeremy Polgar!!! This is fuckin beserk!!! Full flex warp spasm my blaar! You tha fuckin mango! Once pappi!!! NINJA uit (my new screen saver!!!)"

DIE ANTWOORD

So last week at Titmouse our new line producer, Alissa, sent out this mass e-mail to everyone. Inside were these contents http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_pS46YRMIQ

I recommend you watch it and get your mind blown/confused. Anyhow, needless to say it totally inspired me and I quickly became a fan theirs over night.

About this doodle:
I did the initial sketch pretty fast, but then the noodling took me forever. I'm just happy to have a final version to show to you and Die Antwoord tonight. Hope you dig it.

My Dybuuk

I was listening to a short story that I found on my friend's itunes playlist this week. It was called "The Dybuuk in the Bottle". It was a fun little story about an asshole demon that an amateur rabi finds in a bottle near his house and attempts to have the demon do his bidding. However, the Demon makes his living situation rather frustrating so the amateur rabi guy asks an awesome rabi guy to help him get rid of the demon that has taken over his house. The awesome rabi guy assumes ownership of the house and from there is able to beat the demon at his own game. The amateur rabi guy learns a valuable life lesson and gets his home back.

Anyhow, this the what I thought the demon looked like.
