Babe Drop...

This original photoshop file I'm drawing all these girls in was originally intended for just one drawing.  However, I got sorta obsessed the past couple of days and couldn't stop drawing them.  Most are made up and some are referenced.

These are the consequential work doodles D:

Fun with blurs

I got an idea of how to make my drawings look hip-antique.  I would start with a normal, dark outlined drawing and then add some white areas and some grey areas to the rest.  I thought this would give an out of focused or difused lighting sorta look.  Then I found the lens blur filter and played with that for two of the images. i dunno.

Kreayshawn: Gucci Gucci

I was just introduced to Kreayshawn last week.  I love her style and her bad ass rap, "Gucci Gucci".  Check out the music video below if you haven't seen already.

Rat person...

I watched a little "Rock n' Rule" last week and ended up doodling an inspired version of the lady character.  It's a really weird movie made in Canada during the late 80's.  There's a lot of good stuff in there worth checking out if you're into the animations and stuff.  The little doodly characters on the left are there for funskies.  Hope you dig it.

Glorified Doodle...

I guess I haven't taken a drawing to a (close to) final stage so I pooped this out last night.  It started as flash doodle that I was drawing off to the side of an actual work doc and grew into this finished photoshop thing.  Either way it was fun to make.  Hope you dig it.

so just for kicks...

Here's a recent doodle page.  More to come.

BG's of Teatime in France

I've been meaning to post this for months and refused to post anything until I gave my friend, Brandon Cuellar, a proper shout out.

Anyhow what you're looking is a before and after what my layouts turned into after passing them off to Brandon. He can do so much with so little. His work is exceptionally inspirational and incredible. I was beyond lucky to have this artistic genius be such a large part of this project. I couldn't have been more happy:)

5 second day 2011! (double click video for actual framing)

This years 5 Second Animation Day project. I probably invested about 4 actual work days into this thing. Thank you Brandon Cuellar (back grounds), Antonio Cannobio (narration/translation).

Lacking weight...line weight

It's been fun working on season 2 of Super Jail thus far.  I've even learned a good way to draw with no line weight.  I'm liking the way it looks.

New Year's Post... sort of...

I should've posted these a while ago.  Been busy with personal projects.  I'll let you in on that good stuff later.  Happy New Year's!
