Finally Got My Cintiq!
Wow-EE! I'm excited. I finally got my Cintiq which means I'll be starting production on "Phaser Boogie Blast-Off" again. Thank goodness! Here's a doodle I did in Corel Painter for fun. More animation posts to come.

Female Doodles
Wow! It's only been 1 month since I last posted! I've been in a drawing rut of sorts and these were the only doodles I did recently that I kinda like. I'm in the middle of developing a new style so my confidence has been low lately. Today I decided to draw something that I'm more acostomed to. My confidence went up ever so slightly and I began drawing better. Thank goodness.

Oooo... Color
Here's a couple of doodles I did today at work. Not really what I should've focused on, but I do kinda like them so I guess it's ok. I tried to keep the colors and rendering pretty simple. Didn't want to dig that hole to deep. Anyhow, sorry for the delayed post. I've been super busy. Be sure to keep your eyes open for a posting of my first commercial!

Gorditas
The Dragon Lady
Girly art dump
Sorry for the delay
I'm trying to keep this blogg reasonably well updated, however, I was having scanner/photoshop problems for the past month. I finally resolved it tonight and scanned and edited my recent sketches for two or three hours. I'm only going to post a few right now since it is stupid late and I need to get to bed. I'll be sure to post more tomorrow so stay tuned and thanks for watching!

Mostly News... Good News
Today I went in for my interview with Titmouse and got hired on as a traditional animator! I love the work they do there and it's an honor that they are granting me the opportunity to test my chops and see what I got. I'll admit I'm a little intimidated, but excited that I'll finally be at a place where I'm not the best guy considering that I know that I'm not. I'll finally be pushed as an artist and animator. I really hope that I can keep up with the demands. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but can't wait walk through those doors first thing Tuesday morning and start cranking some neat stuff out. For me, this is as good as getting hired on as an animator for Disney, maybe even better. These guys are really really good. Check them out at titmouse.net and see for yourself. It's a dream come true and I'm really happy.
I'll post some sketches soon. I've been busy drawing and working, but didn't feel it was anything worthy to post. I'll be sure to post something that I like hopefully in the near future. Thanks for reading.

Rocket Girl: From Here to Mars
A Few Pages From My Portfolio
I figured that I should start this bloggedy blog blog with some recent stuff. So here's a few pages from my portfolio. I know that I still have a ways to go before I'm anywhere near where I want to be so don't judge too harshly. Well, thanks for looking anyway, I hope there's at least one drawing you like.

My Online Demo Reel
So, I just started this bloggy thing and I'm rather excited. I can now share with you the progress on my big and very current project "Phaser Boogie Blast-off!!!" It is the traditionally animated film that I've been working on for the past year. I unfortunately haven't been able to work on it for the past five months due working and looking for work, but as soon as stability hits I'll be working on it every week until it's done. I am currently 85% finished with the film.
Anyhow, the first part of this demo contains some pencil tests of the animation, I hope you enjoy it.
ZOO AVE
